Are you sabotaging yourself?
You might be holding onto attachments to relationships from the past or ideas or old ways of thinking and living your life.
I think this is the Universe's way of telling you that you need to let go of your attachments to belief systems, thought forms, ideas, attachments, relationships or ways of living your life that are no longer serving you.
When the High Priestess card is in its upright position, it is telling you that you have access to your intuition and you're very balanced.
You have the masculine action energies, you have the feminine receptive energies, and they are flowing in a really balanced way so you have access to the fruitfulness that the situation creates.
However, when you have this card reversed, that the Universe's way of saying you don't have access to your natural intuition right now, you can't really trust your intuition, and your instincts are off for a variety of different reasons.
It also showing you are out of balance. In some ways you are not honoring the divine feminine.
You can pull up that card for men as well, they may be abusing the feminine or for women, sometimes we don't acknowledge and honor our own connection to the divine feminine energy.
This card is saying it is important to turn that situation around before it leads to part of your destruction.
It can indicate a lack of female friendship. It can also indicate that you may feel betrayed by the divine feminine.
It can show that we have hormonal issues that are going on and we need to find some ways to work out that situation.
The feminine is governed by the moon energies. This card has a lot of influence of the moon.
All of those hormonal flows are governed by the moon cycles so you might meditate on the influence of the moon and start to work with the moon energies, the full moon, the new moon, the waxing, the waning moon, and just be aware.
Find some ways of doing ceremonies so you are in the flow of with moon and working with it instead of against it because you just can't go against up Mother Nature.
You can try but it will be useless in the end.
You can look at ways of balancing your hormones also maybe through supplements or different ways of doing that and that will be very helpful.
The card represents the universal principal of trusting in ourselves, of being resourceful, being confident and honoring our intuition, so if this card is upside down you are not honoring your instincts, you not confident, not trusting yourself.
It's a good time to do some meditations, ceremonies, prayers and affirmations that can help give you more confidence in being able to follow what feels right to you.
Explore some of the other two value cards. This card has the numerical value of two.
Look at the other cards in the Major Arcana so you can look at the Aeon, the Strength and the Lust card.
They both have the two value. Look at Minor Arcana the two cards.
That can just give you a few more ideas about how to what you can do to get your groove back going on.
I hope you've enjoyed this mini reading today on the Reversed Priestess.
I think it's a beautiful card and you really want to be able to access it in its upright position, in its beauty, it's there for you, you just need to do a little bit of research and some prayers, maybe some different ceremonies to help you turn the tide of energy so that you have it available to you in its upright position.
I hope you enjoyed this mini lesson on the Reversed Priestess!
