When I teach my apprentice students about the tarot I like for them to spend time meditating with each of the cards. This sharpens your psychic atennas, fine tunes the little wires to be able to pull in information you ordinarily would not have been able to. When you see this Tarot card, we already have learned that Hiero mean Holy and Phant means Teacher. So this word means some one who can explain the scared in a way that the average layman can understand. Since it is reversed you may be turning your back on your current religious up bringing. Or questioning authority. You might be going through a time where you don't feel like you fit in the tribe, don't belong here. This makes you feel unsafe and rebellious. Check and make sure you are not still buying into outdated principals that are no longer serving you. It could be that you have committed to a way of life and now feel that it too limiting for you. Either you or some one close to you might be acting in an arrogant way, full of them self and screw the world if you don't like it sort of attitude. It could be that you have a sort of dilemma about what is right or wrong in a particular circumstance. Are you being to rigid and controlling? It could be about leaving a traditional way of life, like coming out of the closet. Or leaving school or a divorce. It can also be about a teacher or guru you admire that you feel has let you down, maybe they were caught in an compromising position. Now you feel if they haven't been able to walk their talk how can you be expected too. If this is about your health it could indicate a problem with the ear, nose or throat. As always when this card is reversed the out come can also be reversed so that you have access to the positive qualities of this card. Through meditation exercises and prayer you can regain your balance. Change your attitude and your approach, thus the whole situation unfolds in a different dynamic. Then you are able to enjoy they mysteries of this card upright. I think changing your attitude and how you approach your challenges can be the difference maker.
