What Is A Zero Point Meditation?
The Zero Point can happen in just about any meditation experience. It happens when you reach the core of who you truly are! Bliss and transcendence are often words to describe it. You might feel heavy or the total opposite and light as a feather. Some people feel like they are frozen in space and time. This is a place of healing and renewal.
This Meditation Takes You Back To Your Core Essence
Once you are at the core essence of who you really are, you get little insights that can help you get back onto your real path with purpose.
It helps you find resolve to make changes that are necessary.
A zero point meditation gives us deep feelings of contentment, well being and self love.
You feel that you really are a part of the Universe and all things are a part of you.
At Your Core Soul Essence You Can Align With Your Soul Path
Often we get caught up in the illusion of this dimension. We align our self with what others think is the right way for us to live a good life here.
This may never resonate to us because we know we were meant for something different.
We can only be happy when we are living what we came here to live. In our truth, with integrity. By getting some substance and strength from our higher self, we can move forward with more confidence.
Basic Zero Point Meditation
There are many ways to get to zero point, here is my step by step recipe:
Set up your house and room so you are not disturbed for at least an hour, maybe two.
Turn off phones. Put a “do not disturb” sign on your door.
I like a good basic meditation music, like a native american drum beat with a heart beat. Very steady and boring but it helps you get relaxed and into a trance state of consciousness.
Use the same incense for every meditation. I like patchouli, jasmine or sandalwood.
Light a candle and set it in a safe place on your meditation altar.
I prefer to lay flat on my back for this meditation. You can lay on the floor of your meditation room, your bed will work too. You can have a blanket over you. Use the same blanket for ever meditation. The high energy will build in your room and with your tools the more you do this work.
Use an eye pillow or soft cloth over your eyes to block out light.
You can use your head phones too with your music, it helps you to focus on your breathing.
First step after you lay down is to focus on your breath. Breath in and out and only focus on the flow of oxygen in your lungs.
I use the alternate breath meditation to set the tone. Use your right hand and place your right thumb over the right nostril. In hale through the left nostril while you count to 8. then pinch both nostrils and count to 8, then keep the left side of your nose closed when you exhale on the right side as you count to 8. Then you drift or coast for a count of 8. Neither breathing in or out. Then you start all over, on the side you just exhaled through. Your right, inhale, pinch the nose and count to 8, hold the nose on both sides and count to 8, then let go of the left side as you exhale and count to 8, then coast for a count of 8. Start all over.
Once you do each side one time that is one repetition or set. Do a total of 20 sets. I suggest you build up to this many sets over a month long period. Starting with 5 sets the first week, adding 5 until you reach 20.
After you have done your alternate breathing. Allow your self to completely relax and going into a suspended animation. Relax into the bed, feel your self getting lighter and lighter. When you come to a thought, just acknowledge it and then dismiss it. Let it go and drift. Don’t try to hard, this is a time to BE!
This is the opportune time to reach Zero Point. You might feel expanded. Like you are the Whole Universe. You may feel Bliss and Love beyond belief. Often if you get to excited about it, you knock your self out. Not every meditation will get you there. But being dedicated to your personal development program will help set you up for success.
While you are here, ask your Higher self to share any insight that can help you move forward !
Love and Light!
