#155 Mindset Myths of Grief

Awareness Is The First Step

There are some Mindset Myths of Grief that might keep you from being able to to breath and move forward without your loved one. Each week I take questions from my Facebook Page to talk about here on this page.

This week Steven M, writes in: “My partner of 16 years just passed away. Right now, I can’t breathe, I can’t imagine how to live without her. I just feel so lost.  Please help me”.

Steven, thank you for reaching out. That is one thing that I wish everyone in a sad state would do is take advantage of the resources out there. There are family, friends and Angels who are willing and able to help you pull yourself back together.

Tools Of Transformation

The Holy Spirit or Universal Architect has set into place Angels to help us sort out the different transformations we all go through.

There are tools that can can be of help with this mindset shift. Ceremony is a tool that is way under used. We haven’t really been taught how to use it, and that there are only a few select preachers or priests that should do that.

In my opinion we all have the right to use ceremony in all of the major events that our lives take on. The birth time, naming, adoption,  coming of age, marriage and death. As well as the other special or trying times in between.

I say all of this because the one who has suffered the loss feels helpless about how to do something for their loved one.

Which is why I recommend ceremony. Ask your own Angels to help you coordinate ceremony on a reg basis until you feel complete with that phase. Or that you feel your loved one who passed is complete with their Bardo journey.

Grief Mindset Shift Using Ceremony

This has been used many years to help us process our loss. There are so many ways to do this.

A great way to do this is find a place in nature to sit with spirit by a river. Bring some flowers, some paper and pens.  Write down your messages to your loved one on the paper.

Hold the messages and flowers to your heart. Say a prayer or blessing for your loved one and in your mind set that blessing into the paper and flowers. Then you can go down to the river and set the flowers into the water one by one. As you see them floating down the river know that the flowers are taking your prayers out to the earth and Universe bring peace to your loved one who has passed on.

Now put your paper to the candle and let it burn your messages. Be very careful with the fire. Symbolically this helps you transform your pain through fire. If it is windy you can burn it in a pot with a lid near by.  Or just bury your messages. This is another way of releasing your grief and sadness. Transform it through earth. Follow your own intuition in creating a special ceremony.

Create A Ceremonial Act Of Beauty

There are several reasons for doing this. By using action and your own creativity, you are doing something that heals your self. It also shows your love for the departed one.

The image below was created by William Wetmore Story for his beloved wife Emelyn Story after she died.  This is an amazing act of beauty that to this day helps other people deal with their own sadness.  It shows the depth of our love and grief at our loss. Through this art we can tap into some of the higher level teachings at play through this time.

Old Rules Still Prev-ale

Mindset myths of grief often make you feel like you should be thinking or doing this, that or the other.  Back in the old days, especially in the south people are taught a widow or widower doesn’t wear anything but black for a year after their loved one died. Certainly no loud or bright colors.  They also would not be able to go to social fun get together’s or date.

That was then and this is now, follow your heart on what you need to heal. I personally feel like wearing black all the time chokes the life and fun right out of you. So put on some happy and healing color.

We need to be gentle with our self and find our own way to come to terms with our loss.

Ask the Angel known as Grace to bring some of her gentle spirit around you and your home. She can help you gently shift some of the grief and pain to a more neutral position.

The Angel Grace

Dallas All Hallow’s Eve Events

Dallas  2017 All Hallow’s Eve Events

Each week I take a few questions off my Facebook page to talk about here on my blog. This week Tina H wanted to know about my Dallas All Hallow’s Eve events and if I was hosting any Tele-Seances this year. As a matter of fact I am doing one on Oct 29th, 7 pm CST.  This is probably the last seance I will do this year in Dallas and depending on the weather out at the ranch too.

Here are a few of my events for Oct.

Oct 29th Tele-Seance

Oct 30th Dallas All Hallow’s Eve Seance

Oct 31st Ranch All Hallow’s Eve Seance

This is a powerful way to celebrate your loved ones in spirit and the season.

The wheel of the seasons are turning rapidly towards the High Holy Days.  Even for those who don’t follow a spiritual path, you feel the changes of the tides and moon cycles.

Back in the day, our ancestors had certain rituals they did this time of year. They were very superstitious and wanted to make sure they didn’t have un-easy relatives on the other side.

The old timers knew the veil between the worlds was naturally thin this time of year.

Quite often the town would set up bon-fires to scare away any wandering spirits in the community. Folks would dress up like goblins and “haints” so the real spirits would be fooled and stay away from their town.

Often they celebrated the “feast of the dead” where they would fix a plate at the table for special loved ones that had died that past year. They did this as a show of respect, but also to appease them so these departed spirits wouldn’t be offended and return to make their life miserable.

Another big thing with our ancestors was to consult with the village wise woman. Mediumship was practiced in a lot of communities.  Back then they didnt have TV and other ways to entertain themselves so spirit seances were popular.

The medium or wise woman might pull the Tarot cards, read tea leaves or give messages from spirits. The same old things were on their minds, were there relatives at peace on the other side, would they get married and how would they prosper in the coming year.

I hope you can join in some of my fun events !

#149 Psychic Children

psychic children, MarVeena Meek, Psychic Medium MarVeena, Dallas Medium MarVeena, Psychic Q & A

This Is Happening Quite Often Now

We are seeing Psychic Children way more than you use to. Each week I take questions from my Facebook page to answer here on this blog. This week Jamie R. asks ” I don’t know if my son is psychic or just has a really vivid imagination. He says he sees angels on people’s roof tops, and my dad who is no longer living in the bedroom closet.  Do you think he is psychic? ”

Good question Jamie ! Children are often very psychic and open to seeing and hearing spirits until they turn about 7 years old. That is often the age that psychic children will either go forward with their natural gifts or close them down.

Often psychic children close their gifts up because of pressure from family or teachers.

When I was a kid I remember seeing spirits of family and even animals in spirit. No one else could see them and I sort of blocked these connections and put them on the back burner. It is very discouraging to young kids when their parents can’t explain what or why they are hearing or seeing spirits.

Encouraging Psychic Children

What you can do to encourage these special kids is to support them and let them know they are not making it up.

Tell them a lot of other kids have these kinds of visions or connections and they are perfectly fine.

If you had similar things happen as a child, tell them about your own experiences. Often they want to feel like they are not alone!

Ask them if the spirit wants to give you a message.

Set Up Healthy Psychic Boundaries !

Teach your child to be the king or queen of their own castle “personal space”.

Educate your self as best you can about how they can set up healthy psychic boundaries !

You can teach your kids to imagine strong shields of white light around them. Teach them to guard their own space and that it is ok to tell the spirits to leave their space/bedrooms if they feel scared or are tired of talking to them.

Help them understand and trust their gut instinct if a spirit feels good or not.

Not all spirits or ghosts they see are good spirits for them to hang around with. If your child is afraid to go to sleep or can’t stand to be in their bedroom alone, you need to take some strong safety measures.

Know When To Step In To Protect Psychic Children

If your child is having  a hard time with day to day life after they tell you about these things, you may have to step in and clear their space. Or have some one do that for you. One good way to clear out the spirit is to set the intention that no spirits out side of the families personal guides, teachers and Angels be allowed in the house.

I have had great lick with giving the child a personal dream catcher, mandala or special Angel image to serve as a bed room protector spirit.

Create a special blessing ceremony and ask your Angels and theirs to be present and imbue the special protector image with special powers to help your child sleep and be safe in their own room.

Quite often simple os best and does the job. There might be circumstances where you need a little more help. If so, check out my soul clearing and in the details state your concerns.

If you have techniques that work for your kids, share them in the comments below !

Psychic Q & A with MarVeena #41 Value of Reflection & Perspective

Reflection & Perspective, How We Gain Spiritual Growth!

This time of year many of us may find ourselves busy concentrating on the holiday demands of travel, family, and festivities. We can also find time to review our lives that were lived these past 12 months. By using reflection & perspective processes of past events, we can see if we are making some progress refining our soul.

reflection & perspective

We create memories via photos, video, and social media to record to those special moments that we experience.

Time with family, growth of children, good times with friends, we take the time to document these happy moments.

However, just like smart phones, home computers, tablets, and web servers, within ourselves is our own recording mechanism, also called memory. Our own human memory serves us so that we may be able to reflect upon our own passing of time and events.

Unlike social media, our human memory records it all, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Every moment we are aware, our own human hard drives are collecting data second by second.

Unlike technical hardware, we cannot so easily delete or change memories. Life is just not as easy as managing a social media account.

We cannot, with the click of a mouse, simply erase mistakes or negative experiences in life.

As we look over this past year, there may be some painful experiences lived or carried over from past years of our lives.

Sometimes we may wish that we could take those experiences and memories and just throw them in the trash can.

We may think that we have no choice, no control, unlike the ease we do with our smart phones or computers.

The Rubber Band Exercise

Here’s an exercise that can help when looking back at this year and beyond.

Get a rubber band and hold it lightly between the tips of your index fingers of both hands. Do not stretch the rubber band either way, but just allow it to hover gently between your index fingers.

Designate either finger as good or bad. Now, think of a memory that was not so pleasant and stretch the rubber band in the bad direction and hold.

Do you feel the tension? Now, relax it back. Now, think of a good memory and stretch the rubber band out towards the good direction.

Do you feel the tension? Isn’t it ironic that no matter what direction you pull, good or bad, there still exists tension?

Now, hold the rubber band gently again. Do you see how it circles between your two index fingers? You can trace the rubber band around in a circle from one finger, to the next, and back. What this illustrates is the concept of duality and the cycles of life.

The Cycles Of Life

Every year, there is a beginning and an end, just as each of your index fingers represent. Within that year good times come, as well as bad times. As you pull in one direction in your life, tension is felt, just like the rubber band. However, just like the ease with which one can feel that rubber band resting between two fingers, we ourselves can strive to find balance in our lives and become centered.

Science says that for every force exerted, there is an equal and opposite force returned. In our own human and spiritual lives, this same principle holds true. The rubber band exercise can allow us to see how important it is that we honor all that life gives us.

To be balanced and centered is just like exercise, it takes work. In stretching a rubber band as described, we can actually feel the truth in this life principle. To experience bad is not necessarily bad at all. It is more about how one looks at an experience.

Just as a rubber band is stretched in one direction, a negative experience contains the greatest potential to return in the opposite direction. Our own healing in life can be nurtured by being aware of this process.

The Duality Of Life

Our human lives are surrounded by duality, good and bad, light and dark. Just like plants that require periods of light and darkness, we too need light in our lives, as well as darkness.

Those extremes of experience are all happening within cycles of life, or the sum of what lies between the extremes, or our two index fingers. Our 12 months of the year, our 24 hours in a day, and the four seasons bring with it a message of cycles of birth and decay.

The circle that is the rubber band shows us that there are stages to grieving, there are steps for growth, there is a measurable path to travel between our two index fingers. Life is no different. Life is very much like traveling along a circular path between two extremes.

We have to experience all that life has to offer for us to appreciate how everything is required for balance. The rubber band exercise can help us to visualize this spiritual concept.

So, as you look back at this past year, just remember that there is a reason for everything. With good times, there are bad times. With happiness, there is sadness. We would not appreciate one extreme without the other. We can think of many examples of this. If we keep ourselves dwelling on the bad, we will feel tension in our lives, just like our fingers getting tired stretching that rubber band.

Looking back over this past year and beyond, try to take in the sum of everything.

Sometimes it may not be easy to find the good to balance things out, but it is assuredly there. If you take that rubber band and twist it once, you’ll find it creates the symbol of infinity. No matter how you stretch it, the intersection always remains in the middle.

As we expand in our own consciousness and awareness in life, there are literally infinite possibilities in life through becoming balanced and centered within ourselves. Recognizing the duality of life and the cycles of change we go through can help us all to reach our highest potential.

We all want to be the best we can be. The rubber band exercise is one way to visualize how we can balance out our own internal programming and memory. We can see that within us is infinite and limitless opportunities awaiting.

Bright Blessings
