Each week I take a question off my Facebook wall to answer here:
This past week Rita C writes: I don’t know what is wrong with me. I always feel overwhelmed and depressed. My business is in the pits, I have health problems and I feel behind the times. How can I turn this around?
I know there is a lot more to the story here.
When I tap into the Akashic Records for you I can see a lot of family lineage karma. Especially the female side. The way they are affecting you is to create patterns of fear of change, inertia, low self-worth and low self-esteem.
Your parents reinforced these linage patterns the way they molded you into what they thought was right for the day and time you were born.
That is to be a proper lady and do what you are told, think what we tell you to and blend in.
To be self less in giving your time and energy to our husband and family.
That it is not proper or ladylike to think and take care of your self more than necessary.
With quite a few years of programming that old mindset has created the stale, unhappy lifestyle you are in. You don’t like this life and it is no longer working for you to live this way.
It is now time to change up the mindset you have been living with for so long.
In order to do that you have to re-program your hard drive.
The hard drive is a part of our self that I call the “prime directive”.
It sort of sets up a code of rules for us to live by. Most of the rules are adopted from our family, our image makers and teachers.
Note: Just because they thought this doesn’t make it right or right for you.
Your Prime Directive is very strong and very set in it’s ways. It will resist change on any level, it thinks you know all you need to. You have to ask your self if you are frustrated enough with just getting by that you can challenge your own Prime Directive.
Which is very scary for us to do! We can rock our whole world by changing things to fast.
But in order for you to get a new life, new opportunities, a new romance, new fun and friendships. You have to adopt a new mindset. Not all at once, but it does have to happen or your current reality won’t change much if at all.
When we dig in on a subject and can’t be flexible we won’t be able to breathe new life into it.
Visualization~ Begin to imagine and see your self in a new life style or role. See your self feeling successful and creating in a powerful way.
Cultivate Flexibility~ Our outer world can influence our inner world and vise versa. If you do some thing in your physical life to create a more flexible mind, your mind can follow suit. This is helpful for a lot of people, I think for you it can be a game changer on your mental health level. Do the yoga breathing exercise too. The combination of physical and breathing exercises help to get more oxygen to the brain and all the organs in the brain, it energizes all of your internal systems.
Do yoga every day for at least 15 minutes.
Clean up your act~ A messy office and house reflect a messy mind. If you want your mind to calm down and be able to focus and create. Start organizing your house and getting it neat, clean and tidy. Throw away, give away or sale what you don’t use, want or need.
Positive Affirmation’s Rock~
I don’t care how bad your love life is, take some time to affirm several times a day with gratitude the following statement:
Thank you Universe and Angels for bringing warm, loving and kind people into my life! I love to have sweet friends in my life to share ideas and it is so cool to have things in common!! I am grateful to have special people to share a meal, a beautiful sunrise or just spend time with. I am always amazed how easily good people come right into my life. People that I feel like I have just known for ever!! Fun stuff and I am grateful for the rich blessings!!!
You want to stretch this affirmation out a full 2 minutes. That is the launch secret to get it out to the Universe in a strong enough way it will come back to you. When it does, say yes and verbalize more gratitude that you know you got some feed back!
Find a way of clearing out the miscellaneous stuff running around in your mind. For a long time I did the sweat lodge every month.
That was the best way for me to get perspective on my life and what was going on, what I wanted.
It is hard to find lodges, but you can do other processes to help you get perspective. Like a exercise routine, walking, biking, chanting, toning, tapping, singing, swimming ect…
Write it down~
Until you schedule it on your calendar with some reminders it is all pie in the sky.
Writing it down is the first act of making it real!
I have to schedule stuff and add a lot of reminders from my phone.
I put out sticky notes all over for extra support. Give your self all the visual support you can, change your layout of furniture as a reminder that you are now living life differently.
These are ways to support your conscious desires for change.
Good luck and for one last suggestion – find some support programs to join, I have an excellent self mastery program that you can join and there are other programs here and there. Find one that speaks to you and get with it. Some people need daily nudges to keep their focus. That is one thing that my group does, I send out daily emails with inspiration, affirmations, meditation techniques and ideas. All to help you move forward on your souls path!
