Winter Solstice 2016, A Time To Dream Powerfully!

The days have been shorter , now they are turning the tide at our Winter Solstice on Dec 21st.

Each week I take questions from my Facebook friends to answer here in this column. This week Sheryl R writes: I hear you talk about the winter solstice and wonder what it has to do with anything? I feel a tug of interest, but don’t have a clue of what to do with it, or how to celebrate it.

The winter solstice is the shortest day of the year and the longest night. Because we are created as microcosm of the macrocosm. We are inter-connected to the planets, Moon and Stars. As the tides turn, we always have a inner resonance to what is going on in the Universe.

Ideas To Celebrate Winter Solstice:

A perfect time to go with in and dream with spirit.

Create an intention to get some insight about your highest path and purpose here on this earthly plane.

Ask your Highest Guides to send some inspiration of how you can best use your time and resources while you are here.

Before you go to bed, write down your intentions on a small piece of paper. This is called a billet, a letter to spirit. Now tuck the note into your pillow or hold it in your hand while you sleep.

You can get some great insight and reflection on this long winter night!

Ideas of how you can make some gains on your soul path.

By moving forward in a purposeful way, you feel more enthusiasm about being here. Your energy will increase. The stagnation and lethargy will fade away. Purpose helps draw life force to you.

Hibernate, Just Like The Bear!

The brown bear is one of my totems. Close to the winter solstice I want to sleep more than usual. The dream-time calls me to come snuggle in and have deep meditations.

The Bear totem helps me understand the value of the dream world. The bear spends equal time dreaming as they do in the active world.

Actualizing our dreams takes some intention! Use the winter solstice to launch your dreams.

My medicine teacher taught me that the dream time helps us plan, create and be inspired by our Angels and Spirit Guides.

As we dream we are build the foundation of what our soul wanted to do while it is here. So before you go to bed this winter solstice, write out your ideas and requests of your Angels on a small piece of paper.

Take this to bed with you, you might have a piece of rosy quartz or amethyst to bring to bed. Or any crystal that you feel inspired to take. Whisper your goals and dreams into the crystal or mineral. Trust that their is a spirit inside. They may or may not decide to work with you. Sort of depends on how authentic you are and how sincere.
