Today we are going to continue our Tarot Tutorials in my Psychic Development Program and I am going to talk about the Ten of Swords. The Swords are about our mental world and the different states of mind that we find ourselves in. Any time that I pull the Ten of Swords for someone I know that this person is in an extremely bad state of mind. This is not a happy place to be. A lot of times you will be going through a breakup of a relationship, a divorce, a loss, or some sort of sadness with a relationship. Sometimes it might be you have invested your heart into your business and your career and you've suffered a tremendous setback or something has not come out very well so you feel a state of total ruin and desperation. This is not a good place to be, but on a brighter side, if you can look at it this way, you have hit rock bottom and things can only get better. Try to look at it from that perspective. I think it is useful when you pull the Ten of Swords to look at the other cards with a numerical value of ten. You can also look at the Aces in the deck. Look at the Wheel of Fortune especially. The Wheel of Fortune card can really give you some good ideas to help you look at things from another direction so that you can begin to turn the energy around. The main thing that you want to think about at this time is not to be your own worst enemy. Try to be a better support to yourself by finding some high vibrational words to replace the negative words and negative tapes that you may be replaying in your mind. The images that are on this card are the Sun in Gemini and that is an air sign. This is about how we use our ability to look at different sides of the situation. The Sun is a very dynamic, masculine energy that adds motivation and helps us to get things going. If we look at things and try to contemplate how we can move forward and find the silver lining, the Sun energy will help us to do this. You also want to look back at ten years ago in your life. That might be a time period when something was set into motion that is now coming to a head. Give yourself a period of ten days, ten weeks or ten months to process this situation. Be very diligent about taking some measures to process the situation such as counseling and meditation. The main thing is to not be your own worst enemy. The swords are laid out in a pattern called the Tree of Life. All of the Tarot cards talk about different steps and phases that we go through while we are here in a human experience. We go through all of the different states such as happiness, hope, despair, and opportunity. All of the cards talk about all these different experiences that we go through. This card is talking about a sad time but if we meditate and we pray and we look at our support, and look at the other cards in the tarot deck with a 10 value and the aces, then that will give us some ideas to help to turn things around and resurrect oneself. As my dad would say, "Buck up!" You'll be able to get through it. I hope you have enjoyed this mini video article today on the tarot. This is just a little bit of an explanation and some of the possible interpretations of this card. If you would like to have the meanings of the reversal, because if this card is upside down it has a different twist, you can look at my articles on my blog. I also have free audio articles on iTunes. You can access all of those through my website at www.marveena.com. I hope that you have a powerful day!
