How To Inter-grate Trauma After A Bad Breakup
My client Molly had a question about letting go of a traumatic experience. She was having a hard time and asked how to inter-grate trauma after a bad break up.
There are some wonderful tools that can help you drive a wedge between the pain tapes that keep playing in your head. In hypnosis, we might call that a pattern interruption. A mom might call that creating a distraction when her toddler is throwing a fit.
The idea is to be able to look at our past without the negative emotions coming back up with it. A good way to measure how charged you are about a person or memory is this: When someone says their name do you get mad, angry, emotional? Any negative emotions mean you still have a charge.
You will know you are pretty much past an event with your emotions can stay neutral as the subject comes up.
Tips To Help You Process Painful Memories & Grief
It helps to look at your traumatic experience from several points of view. Meditation, prayer and reflection are ways to help you take the negative charges off bad memories. When you are no longer carrying that negative energy, doors begin to open to higher possibilities.
Here are a few ways to help change things up:
Re-think your routine . If you always had coffee with your spouse in the morning and now you feel triggered every time you have coffee. Go for a morning walk instead.
Change your hair style: A radical change like this can give you a whole new lease on life. Studies have shown that people who wear the same hair style for ever are often in a stagnant phase.
Be aware of color and pattern: If you feel in a funk, be very deliberate with choosing your wardrobe everyday!! Only wear colors that nurture and support you. No Black unless it is a funeral. Don’t wear a lot of patterns. This can emphasize the chaotic energy. Calm, loving nice color and fabrics.
Find a inspirational way to keep your focus creating a good mindset. Every single day I post affirmations and inspiration to help elevate your mind to a higher level of awareness. Angels Can Help With Perspective
Your own angels can show you how to inter-grate trauma through dreams and visions.
A great way to help get insight from your own Angels is to create a little ceremony for that purpose.
Light some candles in a quite room. Get out some sage or really high quality incense.
You can enhance the ceremony by rubbing some special oil into the candle like jasmine or rose oil. If you like you can use coconut oil . As you rub the oil into the candle, in your mind ask that your team of Angels be with you and offer some insight about your trauma. Light the candle from your stick of incense and ask that the elements be present as well.
Know that as the incense burns and the candle flickers, the elements are tuned into your situation. Also know and trust that your own Angels are there and will offer up some ideas and insight. There are times when you might get a jolt of insight that might be hard to realize. Like your own contribution to the trauma , or ideas that you know would help but might be an effort or hard to do.
Our Angels love us and only want to see us do what we came here to do in a beauty way. Trust that they will give you at least one little tidbit, you have to be willing to use that clue to help you. Once you put that into action, your angels will usually give you another idea. You are the one that has to do the work though.
What If You Can’t Sense The Block
Often we will know we need to do some work but can’t quite put our finger on what to do. If you have done clearing work with me in the past, dig out your Mp3 and do a reactivation of that Soul Clearing. every day for a week, sit in ceremony with your own Angels and ask for them to reactivate these prayers and codes for your highest and best good.
The material doesn’t expire, but our Angels won’t let us over load by doing too much at once. Usually we need to do this in small increments at a time.
If you have not done any soul clearing work with me, you can create the intention with your Angels to give you some clues and ideas to help you know what you need to work on.
Some times you really dig in on a subject and can’t see any reason to forgive the offending parties or can’t bear the idea of moving on. The sad thing is you usually don’t know who you are and will wipe out in a bad way before you can let go.
If we have had a lot of trauma, often our energy field get covered in grief or fear energy. When this happens it might make it very hard for you to sense things. Keep praying for the Angels to pull away the negative energy so you can feel and sense again.
It might take a while and you might have to revisit the original pain and disappointment before you make a break through but it is worth it !
