The Taj Mahal is one of the 7 wonders of the world.
In the Native American tradition this is called an act of beauty. An act of beauty is creating some thing to bring joy, inspiration, hope to others.
While the Taj Mahal is an extreme act of beauty and quite a lasting tribute of love.
We can create something meaningful on a smaller scale.
There in no limited to what an act of beauty could be.
You might help bring back some green garden space in the inner city concrete jungles.
Create a plan to help walk shelter dogs and groom then for adoption.
You may collect party dresses for under privileged kids to go to prom in.
Put together a park for a neighborhood!
Maybe a paint a beautiful mural to inspire the young artists in the area.
Write a book to help encourage kids to persevere through adversity.
My father is a Shriner and every year they get together and take about 200 kids to the fair.
One of my husbands friends at work take's fatherless kids out on nature excursions.
My act of beauty is to take in throw away animals. We have 10 horses, 4 dogs and 2 cats. All of them throw aways, that now have forever homes and love!
If we all take a little time and a little bit of our naturalness and share it with the world, we would all benefit in some way.
What is your act of beauty? Have you all ready set it out into the world?
Do you have a powerful inspirational book inside of you just waiting to some out?
I feel strongly that it is important that you give back to your community to the degree that you can. Sort of like tithe.
The Universe knows when you make an effort and when you did not. In this life time or maybe in another one down the road you will reap the benefit or repercussion of what you started in this life time. So dream big!
Please tell me about it in the comments below!

Hi Marveena. I had not thought of it as an act of beauty, but my concern for the hispanic children at a small local Catholic church got my attention. One of the things one needs to be successful is to be a good reader, so I have been donating my son's childrens books to the church. He has a very large library. The children can read to their siblings and parents, but most importantly, they will have books to read at home. I gave a little 7 yr old girl some Dr. Seuss books and she was so, so happy to have her very own books! It really makes your heart feel good when you touch the lives of others in a positive way.
With love, Bertie
