This is a great way to relax, when you feel stressed or out of sorts. You can use this technique when you need to study and can't concentrate.
You can either lie down or sit up for this meditation.
Be sure to ground properly first of all. By pretending you are tied to the earth with an invisible cord.
Turn your phone off, light some incense, light a candle.
Ask your team of angels, guides and teachers to be present with you in this meditation.
Be aware of your breath, gently breath in an slowly exhale.
Your eyes are open and shift them slowly to look up the wall in front of you to the edge were the wall meets the ceiling.
Now hold your arms out to your side. Keep your head still but let your eyes look all the way to the left and then back to the top of the wall, now all the way to the right.
Now drop your hands in your lap and continue to gaze first up the ceiling, to your right , back to the ceiling and then the left.
Soon you will feel more relaxed and aware.
Let your breath flow naturally.
Continue for about 5 minutes.
You could do an abbreviated version of this in class, or at a seminar.
Just look up and find the edge were the ceiling meets the wall.
This is a perfect technique to use when you really need to pay attention to the presenter.
It will help you be better able to take in the discussion and keep the people around you in your field of vision. You feel safer.
Give it a try!
It will help your driving too, you have a better field of vision. Please don't meditate while driving though, not a good idea at all!
There are lots of ways to use hypnosis and meditation together. This is a simple one you can teach your self or you kids to help them cope with stress in their life too!
The more we meditate, the more we learn about yourself, life and the great mystery!
