The fall Equinox is upon on us, starting today!
Each week I take a question from my Facebook Page to talk about here in this column. This week, Steve L asks: What does the Fall Equinox mean and how does it effect us? Or does it?
Very good question. We are all effected by what is happening with the planets. Mercury is just now coming out of Retrograde. This is auspicious, and even when it is retrograde we can use the time wisely . Getting back to the Fall Equinox though. The root word Equi means equal , there will be 12 hours day light and 12 hours of dark. The same happens for the spring equinox.
This is a great time to think about balance on all levels of your self.
Quite often we get fixated on doing one thing and ignore other aspects like our mental, emotional or spiritual self.
It is all too easy to do, but in the end it is better for us to be balanced and seek it on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual self.
Going back to the root word equi, think about spending equal time within, like meditation. Consider ways that you can explore the dream time more. There is so much richness in experiences for us in the dream world.
You can create a lot of your external goals for your day to day life if you can learn to mull them over in a good way while your are sleeping. Use this Fall Equinox as a catalyst to do more powerful creating. A time to step on up into more of your natural ability to act as a manifestor. You have more down time, less day light to stimulate you to your outward goals.
I recommend taking some steps this fall to creating a meditation program.
This can empower you on several levels. One of them being your health! Lots of people don’t realize it but your physical health can benefit by a regular meditation routine. It doesn’t have to be a crazy difficult one either. Just find a quite place to focus on a candle. If you don’t have a candle use your palm as a focusing tool.
Just stare at it with a very relaxed gaze. If you find day to day thoughts creeping in, bless them and let them go to the side. Acknowledge you have plenty of time to pay attention to them later. Now go back to a blank state of mind, and gaze at your flame.
Pretend you are one with the candle or what ever focal point you use. Imagine your self merging your own consciousness with it. What does that feel like? Let your day to day thoughts melt to the side. This exercise helps you to activate different parts of your multi-dimensional self.
Once this is fully activated, the sky is the limit.
This is what we all came here to do. Be more of who we naturally are!
Actualizing your dreams is easier when you learn to use the natural rhythms of the Universe. Like the Solstice, Equinox, Full and New Moons and planet movements. Get your self a Farmers Almanac each year to clue you in on what is happening with the natural rhythms.

Bright Blessings!
