Hearing messages from spirit is easier than it might sound

I have been connecting to spirit since I was a kid and it feels natural to me.

Each week I take a question from my Facebook page to answer here in this column. This week Tammy Millner writes: What does a medium do? How do they receive messages and information? When my father died, I had a dream three days later. He told me in the dream that he was OK and safe.  What was crazy is he also told me he was going to see Elvis at some sort of meeting .  “I thought that was awesome because in life, he was a huge Elvis fan!”.

Very good questions Tammy, and a very special and powerful dream!

Your dream is awesome confirmation from your dad that made it across the veil in good shape.  He is a good communicator too ! It is a bit of a learning curve for a spirit to figure out how to project their thoughts into your dreams or day to day conscious awareness.

The Journey After Death Is Known As The Bardo Experience

What I find interesting is  that it was 3 days after he died that he appeared to you.  Normally, it takes a soul any where from 7 hours up to 3 full days to completely pull away from the body and begin the death journey process.

Part of this process is about the Bardo experience and looking at a review of his life and make sure he has processed it. If he has not, he will have time and Angelic Counseling to help digest the experiences he had here that he might have had trouble appreciating.

What fun that he brought up his appreciation of Elvis !!! I have heard from several sources in spirit that Elvis is a master teacher on the other side of the veil. He made a big splash while he was here and is a wonderful teacher in the spirit realm.

I have had a few encounters with Elvis here through the spirit realm too 🙂

The Over soul of everyone retains the memories of special connections that it made while here on this earth plane!

The things that you learn from life to life go with you in your cellular memory.

The soul inhabits or “en-souls” the physical body and pulls away from the body when their journey is complete. A soul can have a complete and meaningful journey in a very short life. Even a day or a few hours.

It is best not to judge the success of a soul journey by the days spent here. None of us know what a particular spirit is wanting to witness or accomplish while they are here.

Often we reincarnate with members of our own soul group or soul family life after lifetime. We have agreements and contracts with different members of our soul family to help us evolve and learn different life lessons.

Harmonize with your loved ones on the other side! Connecting to spirit is easier if you can align your vibration with theirs.

A long time ago a wonderful teacher taught the idea of blending energy. To harmonize with your angels, guides and loved ones in spirit.

Blending is the idea of feeling the subtle vibration of your loved ones unique energy and following that feel.

Connecting to spirit is something you can do any time or place. I have connected to spirits while driving down the road, feeding horses and had them around when you least expect it.

The next time that you catch your self thinking about your father, just send out to him a hello and ask that he spend some time with you. Maybe share some of his thoughts or things that he is doing over there in spirit.

 

Look for loved ones in your dreams!

Ask your Angels to bring loved family member’s to you or even special animals.  You can request family members or even pets to come visit you when they can.

Your dream time is the easiest place for you to connect to spirit. Often right before you fall asleep you might get a feeling of some one you knew before.  Sometimes you might even get a whiff of a fragrance that you associated with them.

You might see a image or some lights, or a bit of a shadow.

It is rare to see but you might see a full apparition. Usually a apparition pulls energy from either a medium or someone that has some medium ability .

This means that the person has studied mediumship in another life time. Or that they are naturally receptive to energies that are not focused in matter.  For these people connecting to spirit very simple.

Grief Can Block Your Ability To Communicate With Spirit

If a person is having a hard time over this loss, the grief energy might be so thick that it makes it hard for a loved one to get through the dense energy.

So please know that it is important to get some perspective on life and death. Trust there is life beyond this physical experience and that the soul is totally connected to the Divine even if it denies that connection.

These ideas help us to accept the phases of life,  and death is a part of the life cycle. One of my favorite teachings from the Native Mysteries is the idea that ” death gives birth to life”.

Through the life, death and re-birth process we are all able to evolve and continue to refine our rough edges and connecting to spirit on a regular basis helps all of us to stay inspired to push forward.

Often life circumstances throw us off our path and we lose our hope and  sight of our own higher self and soul essence.

We might doubt our teachers and the life lessons that have held us together over the years. Soul Healing can help you re-calibrate your personality self so that you can begin to function again.  We didn’t come here to just get by and survive, we can here to use all of this contrasting stuff to get us thinking and using our own magical nature.

I have used a technique called Soul Clearing that is guided by the Archangels to help put the pieces back together so you can move on. 

In a soul clearing session I go into the Akashic records for clues of what has set you back, then use specific coded prayers through the Angelic realm to push a re-set button!

The Angels really do the work, they use me as the grounded tool that makes it happen in this dimension. Your desire to heal is the pull that puts it all into action.

Soul Healing happens when your higher self steps in to help you make sense of things that your ego self can not.

It is all about perspective.  Learning how to look at things from another direction or another persons point of view can make all of the difference. 

That old saying ” Walk a mile in another persons shoes” is a useful technique.  Cultivating a flexible mindset is helpful too.

Rejuvenating your soul self can happen with ceremony, in guided meditations, or a simple prayer. 

It is good to know what works for you ! Or at least be willing to experiment to find some things that will help you out.

One of the most powerful things that helped me accomplish a soul healing was the purification sweat lodge.

It is a very intense ceremony and very helpful when you need to sort things out in your mind.

I suggest you only enter a sweat ceremony with someone you totally trust. Check for references to see what their qualifications are.

Reiki training is a great way to infuse your ego self with your higher self. 

I started my Reiki training over 25 years ago and have been teaching it for about 20 years now.

The connection to your higher self is magnified and your awareness of the un-seen spirit world helps you to trust there is more to this life than what you might have thought.

The self treatment taught in Reiki training helps the soul healing on all levels, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. In my Reiki classes I teach a powerful long distance Reiki treatment as well as hands on techniques for your self or others.

It has to be experienced to be believed !

There is a saying that God won’t give you more than you can handle. In some ways I think that if your mind set is so limited and small that only a bit of the true beauty of the Reiki will work it’s way to you. So you don’t get your mind blown 🙂

If you set your mind to be allowing, the Soul Healing can happen rather it is brought about by Reiki, ceremony or prayer.

Psychic Q & A with MarVeena Episode #68 Spirit Communications

If you are not familiar with the process of spirit communications,  it can feel really scary when it firsts starts to happen.  Your Angels can be a big support at this time.

People often think that only mediums hear spirits. Not true you don’t have to be a spiritual intuitive or psychic medium to hear spirits or even see clairvoyantly.

I just did a reading for a lady a few minutes ago who was having clairvoyant visions.  We all have the wiring to use our psychic senses, some have it more honed than others.

One of my Facebook friends asked a question the other day.

Jordan B writes:

how much is a session w you and whats your schedule like? I am wondering if you pick up on any kind of energy with myself, ever since I opened myself up to angel dreams something, multiple something has been trying to communicate with me or are just some odd dreams I am having. One is a girl, had a long conversation woke up and forgot her name and what we spoke of. Another is a man with a deep voice that freaks me out and wake up immediately. So much so I now have to sleep with a loud fan and some sort of light for I can feel a presence. Am I crazy? Lol Anyways, would love the opportunity to meet and learn from you, helps your also close.

In answer to your first question, a basic 30 min session with me costs $135.00.  Normally you can arrange a time with in two weeks.  My best days are Monday to Thursday starting at 10 am, going to 6. I do some evening sessions and some weekends.

Good questions!!! One of things I do and suggest to my apprentice clients is to ask the Archangel Michael for protection.  You can call your own Angels, and other Archangels that you feel close to as well.

The next thing that will help you is to ask for spiritual guidance from your Angels on where you might be holding on to fear, anger and other negative emotions. That is where soul clearing is very helpful, you either need someone who can help you do this clearing work. Or do a series of meditations specifically to focus on this. It takes time to stalk our all of our negative fears that we have been holding on to for who knows how long. This is a very important part of your souls development process.

When you have looked at your fears, have gotten perspective on them so that they no longer haunt you. Your whole energy field will shift.  Your aura will be brighter, this is sometimes called our “Luminous Cocoon” .  It is made up up layers of energy that can attract or repel like minded energy. Depending on what you are vibrating too.

So the key take away is, “don’t vibrate to fear”. That attracts lower level spirits or even ugly entities to you. They are no fun to have around and can actually be very harmful.  You can interact with spirits safely if you take measures to keep a positive and protected energy field. Prayer and intention, asking the Angels to help keep layers of protection around you are key.

I think it is important to always be either the King or Queen of your own castle. Not letting spirits or people into your space without an invitation. So you also have to learn how to set up healthy boundaries. I talk about this as well a lot more in my Self Mastery Boot Camp course.

A lot of sensitive type people like you and I do have a hard time keeping strong boundaries because we do love people and expect the best from them.  This is very important for you to get at this stage of your journey.  Spirit communications can be a rich blessings. We should all be open to spirit communications with our own Angels, Guides and Master Teachers. This is how we can get mini downloads about our souls journey.

Your psychic gifts are beginning to open up more and more. Sometimes things feel very awkward in the beginning. But as you learn more, it is not so hard.

Just because the spirits scare you does not mean they are evil. It is just all new to you. If you don’t want them around I suggest you just tell them they need to go some where else. Tell them to call upon their own Angels to answer their questions. They have them, they might just be feeling disconnected from them. Even in the spirit world we have free will.

Using Conscious Dreaming to Create

Each week I take a question off of my Facebook page to answer here in this column. One of the question’s asked after my dreaming webinar was “Is there a way to use my dreams to build my future”?

My answer is of course you can!!! I call this conscious dreaming. Some might call it Lucid Dreaming. Either way, you are tapping into a huge part of your self that can operate multi dimension-ally. We are all wired to do this, unfortunately a lot of our magic has been taught out of us 🙁

Conscious Dreaming With Intention

There are a lot of ways to set yourself up to dream this way. I recommend you start with Intention.

I believe we all come to this earth plane with a special sacred dream to awaken. This dream will be something that can inspire, encourage many others. It is not just for your personal gain or pleasure.  So this is a great intention to go to sleep with !!!

Set up your dreaming experience like a Magician creating ceremony. In fact, this is a great opportunity for you to allow your inner child to role play.

Our inner child loves to play and that light attitude can be a big help.

I set the stage by first doing a special bath with sea salts to cleanse my aura. It is useful to do some clearing prayers or mediation while bathing.

Set up the elements around your bath, like a candle, some incense, a nice crystal. This gives your unconscious mind a feeling of connection to the elements. You represent the spirit element. Our un-conscious mind really responds to this!

Then you can wear a special robe or night gown to bed that makes you feel special. I like to use a power color, that is different for everyone. Mine is purple, the jewel tones really speak to me.  You can further enhance your experience by using a special blanket or magic sheets that really make you feel cozy.

I like to make use of the crystal and mineral world to tap into their energy, this gives a big boost to your experience. You can set up a grid on your bedside table.  Or you can put it under your bed.  There are many ways to set up a grid.  I usually take a small pyramid for the center, then place some other minerals and crystals either in a five pointed or six pointed star.

You can incorporate the magic of sacred geometry by making either a 5 or 6 pointed star over your grid. Connecting the stones, just use your finger to draw this.

A dream mask or eye pillow is awesome to help you relax and focus on what you are wanting to accomplish. One of my favorite eye pillows was made with lavender seeds inside. It is very special. An ordinary eye mask works great too.  I set a small crystal on my forehead, right at the 3rd eye, under the eye mask.  A single terminated quartz works really well for this. This serves as a travel and focus aide.

Psychic Q & A with MarVeena Episode #64~Dream Signs and Symbols

Working with the signs and symbols of your Dream’s can help you manifest your goals much faster!

Did you know that when you see a vehicle in your dream, this is symbolic of your souls progress. So if you dream of driving a fast car down a bumpy road, it means you are making great progress in spite of the challenges.

If some one else is driving and you are in the back seat, this means you are giving away your power to who ever was driving.

The Dream world is fascinating and full of mystery too!

This is a great question! I think just being here and participating we are making progress.  Don’t get down on your self and compare what you are doing to what someone else is.

Learn How To Use Dream Time & Learn To Decode The Dreams !

A powerful way to create is in our dream time at night to set some goals and make some plans. Create intention before you go to sleep to sit with your guides and angels. Ask them to remind you of the important things you really wanted to be a part of before you came in.  Show them your desire to move forward with this.

I think a dream journal is handy for several reasons. Keep it right by your bed, in the morning before you get up. Jot down your dreams in the journal. You don’t have to write the whole 9 yards, just the tone of the dream, the symbols you saw, and people you saw. Make a note of how it made you feel too.

Then you can work on decoding it. The reason you do this is if you have some blocks, or karma that is keeping you in a holding pattern. You won’t be able to get to work on your dream until you have completed these things. Forgiving who hurt you, or been forgiven by someone you might have hurt. Think about completion and follow through. This is the time to finish what you started in a good way.

When our mindset is aligned with our goals and our actions we become unstoppable!
